The Threshing floor, which gave the name to the house, was used by the peasants of the village to beat wheat from the surrounding terraces The current dining room, at left, was the original cottage used to store tools and supplies. The remainder of the house was built in stages (from 1960 to 1970) in the traditional way: local stones, terracotta floor tiles and roman style roof tiles.
